Distillery

• Under Hillis leadership Prospect Solar led the design and installation for a local distillery in Purcellville, VA. A ballasted system was used on the low slope south-facing roof. Micro-Inverters were used to address shading issues from vents and chimney. The system will offset approximately 85% of the distillery’s energy usage.
• This system also benefited from a USDA grant for rural businesses and farms. At the time of its installation this facility was one of the largest privately owned solar arrays in Virginia.
